WHERE DOES THE TOUR START AND END?

IS THE TOUR PROVIDED JUST IN ENGLISH OR ARE OTHER LANGUAGES ALSO AVAILABLE?

For the year 2025, all tours will be provided just in the English language.

CAN I JOIN A TOUR WITHOUT MAKING ANY RESERVATIONS?

No. To avoid overbookings and ensure the smooth development of tours, booking the tour in advance is mandatory. The Guide will check you in so be sure to have your digital or printed reservation with you!

HOW CAN I FIND MY GUIDE?

Your guide will wait for you at the meeting point with a Black Umbrella with our logo "Walking In Amsterdam" on it! Check out Our Tours section to see the meeting point and other details about your tour!

IS THE TOUR CANCELLED IN CASE OF RAIN OR BAD WEATHER?

No. Rain and wind are part of the daily life of every Amsterdammer! This is why we always recommend you bring an umbrella! The tour will go on even with some rain or wind. If the weather is too harsh to make the tour possible, you will be notified in advance.

IS THE TOUR SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN?

IS THE TOUR WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?

Yes.


WHAT TIME DO I NEED TO SHOW UP FOR MY TOUR?

We recommend you be 15 minutes in advance at the meeting point to meet your guide and check in.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I'M RUNNING LATE FOR MY TOUR?

Unexpected circumstances are always around the corner to ruin our smooth plan! This is why we recommend trying to be at the meeting point 15 minutes in advance. Every tour will start at the scheduled time because some guests might have other activities planned after the tour so we always want to be on time with our starting and ending time. If you can't be there in time and your guide left already, you can contact us and we will try to reschedule your reservation for another day depending on the available spots. But if no spots will be available, unfortunately we can't do anything. Refunds are not provided in this case.

I CANNOT BOOK ONLINE, WHAT CAN I DO?

If you are experiencing problems with our booking system and you cannot make your reservation, we are sorry and you can directly contact us to see if we can solve the problem and reserve your spot.

HOW CAN I RESCHEDULE OR CANCEL MY TOUR?

You can cancel or reschedule your reservation up to 48 hours before the starting time of the tour. Rescheduling for another tour will be subject to available spots.

DO WE STOP FOR ANY BREAKS?

No. If it's not an emergency, the tour doesn't provide any stops. This is why we always suggest having a quick stop for the toilet and water before coming to the meeting point!

DO YOU ALSO OFFER PRIVATE TOURS / GROUP TOURS?

Yes, we do offer private tours or group tours (up to 15 people children included). You can use this form to send us a request.
